How To Get It To Them

New lines are always exciting.  Being in the right place at the right time with the right book can get you sold, as is what happened to Sunny.  Even more exciting is having three major publishers releasing similar new erotic romance lines all at the same time—a huge opportunity for aspiring authors. Come hear from the acquiring editors themselves.  Learn what worked and what didn’t for their new erotic romance lines, what they want now, and how to get it to them.

Come hear from the acquiring editors themselves.  Learn what worked and what didn’t for their new erotic romance lines, what they want now, and how to get it to them.

Kensington Aphrodisia author, Sunny, will discuss how selling a novella to Kensington’s new line launched her writing career, led to a fabulous 4-book 2-series deal with Berkley, garnered appearances on Geraldo At Large and CNBC, and won an award for her.

We will discuss crucial and specific submission guidelines, the names of acquiring editors of each house, whether they accept novellas or not, and give vital Do’s and Do Not Even Go There’s.  Come learn how to write for these erotic lines, the difference between these new lines—Avon’s Romantica vs. more hard-core erotic fiction with Kensington’s Aphrodisia and Harlequin’s Spice lines—and how to write the best book for each.
